Mafia 3 is one of those long awaited open world titles that offer lots of teasers while in development. Some of the latest insights in the game included tons of screen shots provided by 2K Games and Hangar 13, the development team behind the franchise.
The place where all happens is New Orleans and the surrounding in the game are pretty dark, which is how most people imagine the Mardi Gras capital.
Since the developing partners stated how they’ve started working on the 3rd installment of the crime based strategy game, fans have waited for any information about the design of the world.
Till now, there were some mentions of New Orleans as the city that will take the main stage in Mafia 3, but nobody was sure that this was a good idea.
After some screen shots were released, it seems like fans reacted well and accepted the dark surroundings created by 2K Games and Hangar 13.
It should be noted how these pictures were taken from the pre-alpha version of Mafia 3, so we can expect certain changes until the final product hits the shelves.
The images were also used at a gaming conference where Mafia 3 developers tried to present a new and innovative way of making unplayable characters more realistic while managing to save time in the creation process.
Without further ado … Here are the first ever Mafia 3 print screens:
Great deal of people argue how Mafia is just a version of GTA with a different story behind it, but it seems like 2K Games are trying to make it a unique title in terms of design and gameplay, and creating realistic characters that you don’t even use is a good place to start.
Mafia 3 will be released at certain point in 2016 and it will be available for PC, Xbox One and Play Station 4.
