Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will come this summer, but it’s never to early to get a peek into the new cover art. The developer behind the Witcher franchise, CD Projekt Red, decided to officially publish the cover of the Blood and Wine expansion of the third part of the series.
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been one of the most popular games in 2015 and it received only high grades from critiques in the industry, managing to snatch a 10/10 rating from IGN. Having this in mind, it’s almost certain how the Blood and Wine expansion will be one of the better releases coming this summer.
Although it isn’t a full game, and it’s only labeled as an expansion to the third part of the main game, the artwork of the cover is telling a different story. It seems like CD Projekt Red have worked hard to develop a whole new world filled with creatures you haven’t met till now.
From what we can see from the cover it’s highly likely how this will be one of the best adventures for your favorite monster hunter called Geralt till date.
The town of Toussaint is being attacked by vampires and you’ll certainly have fun demolishing them. After a huge success with the first expansion pack titled Hearts of Stone, Witcher 3 is coming with a whole new environment for you to explore.
While you wait for the release of this new Witcher expansion, that will be released this summer, you can explore some of the free DLCs already released for all consoles.
The more interesting question maybe is what will Projekt Red do after they finish releasing expansions for Witcher 3? The overall quality of the game is so good, nobody can see how a fourth installment would work out.
Blood and Wine will be released this summer for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
