For all of you that already have Fallout 4 on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, there are some great news.

Bethesda Softworks, the developer behind this gaming title if you haven’t known already, announced how they’ll be releasing a Survival Mode for their biggest title of 2015/2016 gaming season.

The news was first seen on Bethesda’s forum earlier this week when one of the admins stated how there will be a new update for the game, officially titled 1.5 Update patch that will play the role of a supporter for the upcoming Far Harbor DLC, which is the DLC that will bring this post apocalyptic mode.

The patch is now available on Steam and it can be downloaded by PS4 and Xbox One users as well.

There are some other game optimizations that are interesting, but the most important part is that Far Harbor brings a whole new survival mode, which actually means you’ll have a whole new game to explore.

The full DLC will hit the open market somewhere next week, so if you want to be ready for it go ahead and download that patch. It will literally take you couple of seconds if you want to install it to your console.

One of the biggest reasons why fans eagerly wait for the release of the Survival mode is because it will bring new challenges, so we can freely say how it’s targeted mostly towards professional gamers.

Besides the survival mode this update also includes tons of fixes and repairs of bugs and glitches, bringing the whole Fallout 4 experience to the next level.

If this isn’t enough for you, the Creation Kit and the Developer Supported Mode are on their way, currently in Beta testing phase, and they’ll be released anywhere between May and August of 2016.
