Battlefield 4 was one of the most anticipated games in the community before its official release, but it was soon classified as one of the biggest busts in gaming history.

The game developers behind the latest Battlefield 1 project hope their new and improved version of the game will avoid this scenario and climb the sales top charts once it hits the market.

For those of you that keep a close eye on the Battlefield franchise and all the news related to it, the reason why Battlefield 1 comes after Battlefield 4 is maybe clear, but it can also be a marketing move in which EA Sports try to refresh one of their most well known titles till date.

DICE, one of the development studios working on the project, stated how they’re fully aware of all the issues connected with the previous release and they tried hard to present the mayhem happening during World War I in a whole new light.

Great number of experts in the industry point out Star Wars Battlefront as a good example of improvement in terms of design when we talk about Battlefield franchise titles, and they clearly believe how Battlefield 1 will learn from the mistakes its predecessors made.

One of the biggest problems related with the release process of Battlefield 4 was the fact that the game although released on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One didn’t get the chance to be tested by it’s fan base.

Instead, developers DICE worked with a hardware that was new at the time and was not common among the average gamer.

Battlefield 1 will be released on October 21st across all platforms, but it’s still unclear when will DICE release the beta version of the game. For now you can enjoy some special pre-order offers like the Exclusive Collector’s Edition, which has lots of fan memorabilia yet it goes for the price of $220.
